Slyp, Australia’s leading loyalty fintech, has announced major product updates to its next-generation loyalty platform and mobile app, Go Rewards. The new products will help retailers, and their suppliers create smarter, more personalised customer experiences using real-time data and AI.
From today, Slyp’s retailer partners and their customers will have access to a new loyalty card linking capability, Auto Earn; and real-time POS-to-CRM data connectors for smarter, actionable insights. Also being released in pilot is a new AI-powered shopping assistant, Go Pilot; and Brand Hub.
“As AI transforms how people shop and interact with brands, the role of loyalty is evolving to become a critical centrepiece,” said Paul Weingarth, CEO and Co-Founder at Slyp. “It’s no longer just about collecting points, it’s about building meaningful, personalised experiences that turn transactions into interactions.”
New features now available in the Slyp Loyalty Platform:
Auto Earn – turning the payment card into the loyalty card:
Slyp has partnered with Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos to allow customers to link their credit or debit card to their loyalty cards within the Go Rewards app. Customers will no longer need to scan their loyalty card at checkout to earn. This makes loyalty program participation effortless for customers and gives retailers a more complete view of customer spend, unlocking more accurate insights for smarter personalised offers and interactions.
Data Drop – connecting POS data to customer engagement platforms in real-time:
Leveraging Slyp’s 35 POS integrations, Data Drop allows merchants to connect SKU-level customer data collected from their in-store POS systems to their marketing and customer relationship tools.
Go Pilot (Beta) – your AI-powered shopping assistant:
Embedded within the Go Rewards app, the Go Pilot feature interprets the customers receipt data to deliver hyper-personalised interactions. The first use case for Go Pilot has been designed for our grocery partners and allows Go Rewards users to receive AI powered meal recipes based on their purchase history and tailored to their dietary preferences. Future iterations will allow users to create smart shopping lists, allowing AI agents to anticipate a customer’s specific needs and buy these items for them autonomously.
Brand Hub (Beta) – supplier funded offers at scale:
Currently in beta, Brand Hub allows retailers to source offers from their suppliers at scale and distribute these personalised offers directly to their loyalty members. For suppliers, Brand Hub provides a single platform to fund and mange offers across multiple retail partners, helping them reach the right customers at the right time with greater efficiency and return on investment.
“There’s a growing concern that the pace of AI innovation could leave many retailers behind,” continued Weingarth. “We’re focused on helping retailers navigate this change ensuring they’re equipped with the tools and data they need.
“First-party data is no longer a nice-to-have - it’s the engine powering modern retail. Without it, even the best engagement tools fall short. What sets leading retailers apart are loyalty programs that go beyond points and discounts. The ones that surprise, delight, and build real relationships are the ones that will win in the age of AI”
