We are thrilled to announce that Slyp has officially achieved B Corp certification. This is a significant milestone in our journey towards creating a positive impact, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the global community of businesses committed to making a difference.

Our mission to become the most trusted digital receipt standard in Australia, has been fuelled by our long-term objective to reduce the environmental impact of the 10.6 billion paper receipts in circulation in Australia every year. It’s this mission that led to the launch of FutureProof, an industry-led initiative aimed at transforming the way Australian’s receive and manage receipts, and something that breathes into everything we do here at Slyp.

But what else does B Corp Certification mean for Slyp? Well for those unfamiliar with B Corps, it stands for Benefit Corporations and is a certification given to businesses that balance both purpose and profit. B Corp companies are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions not only on shareholders but also on workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.

By earning this certification, Slyp joins over 650 companies across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand that are certified B Corporations and the 7,800+ B Corps around the world dedicated to using business as a force of good.

What does B Corp Certification mean for Slyp?

1. Commitment to Social and Environmental Performance. Achieving B Corp certification signifies Slyp’s dedication to meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We believe that businesses can and should be a force for good, and this certification reinforces our commitment to making a positive impact beyond financial success.

2. Measuring What Matters. As a B Corp, Slyp is now part of a global movement that values measuring success beyond just profits. We will be regularly assessed on various criteria, including environmental practices, employee engagement, community involvement, and ethical business practices. This ongoing evaluation ensures that we stay true to our mission and continuously improve our impact.

3. Aligning with Like-minded Businesses. Becoming a B Corp means joining a community of businesses that share similar values. We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate and learn from other B Corps, leveraging collective knowledge and expertise to drive positive change on a broader scale.

While achieving B Corp certification is a significant accomplishment, it's just the beginning. Slyp remains dedicated to continuously improving our impact and finding innovative ways to contribute positively to the world.

We want to express our gratitude to each and every member of the Slyp community – our customers, partners, and supporters. As we embark on this new chapter as a certified B Corp, we invite you to continue supporting us in our commitment to creating a sustainable and responsible business.
